    Having spent some time living in Capri, Italy, the clients adored the hillside villa feeling. The question was: could I capture that feeling with a renovation of the landscape?

    Memories of carefree summers and bohemian travels informed the design choices for this house, which the owners envisioned as a private resort to enjoy with friends.
  • Outdoor Living in Style
    The design program for this renovation focused on revisiting the pool as both a reflecting pond and oasis-like lagoon.
  • Casa de los Arcos
    A 1934 Spanish Colonial Revival home transformed into an urban oasis incorporating sustainable practices and the California spirit.
  • Hollywood Oasis
    A 2008 APLD-CA Gold Award Winner for Residential Design, this small back and side yard became a restful entertaining space to create a romantic escape from the day-to-day.
  • Ozeta House
    This Mediterranean-inspired landscape transformation was the main feature in the March/April 2002 issue of Garden Design magazine.
  • Venice Beach Home
    A new twist on Asian Modern gave this 2-story construction some much needed privacy, security—and magic.
  • Catalina Dreaming
    This project was inspired by the wonderful craftsmanship executed with brick and early California tile that you still find today on Catalina Island.
  • Silverlake Jewel
    An exotic Garden of Eden with a sense of the sacred, where Africa meets Andalusia, created for a sophisticated, well-traveled couple.
  • Contemporary Spanish Retreat
    The new design for the outdated landscapes of this small bungalow developed into a walled front courtyard with romantic lighting in a garden setting.
  • Canyon Family Playground
    This shady property had a tendency to stay moist and muddy, so finding an updated purpose for the struggling backyard was essential.
  • English Manor in Beverly Hills
    The landscape looked “tired” in so many ways, requiring a new vision for contemporary times, with thoughtful expansion of usable space and gardens.
