About the Project
This project was inspired by the wonderful craftsmanship executed with brick and early California tile that you still find today on Catalina Island.
Boston Brick & Stone did a wonderful job to capture that feeling, bringing in authentic old tile and creating a star-shaped brick fire pit, which I conceived as part of the extended patio for dining and entertaining.
The nearby spa serves as a retreat for the parents and the kids, with a Mediterranean-hued tiled wall and Moroccan brass spouts.
